Below are a list of questions that pertain to the website management system for designers.

How do I add a custom domain?
Adding a custom domain requires you to upgrade to the Live Edition of Enso at $50 a month.
  1. Login to your Enso account at http://www.ensocms.com/login.
  2. On the "My Websites" page scroll down to the the website you want to manage.
  3. Click the "Manage Domains" link.
  4. Click the "Add Domain" link and enter the domain information in the form.
  5. Login into your domain registrar account (GoDaddy, Network Solution, etc.) and point that domain to 74.205.36.49.
  6. Repeat this process for any additional domains or sub-domains.

How do give my client access to the content management system?
Before your client can login to the CMS you must first give them access.
  1. Login to your Enso account at http://www.ensocms.com/login.
  2. On the "My Websites" page scroll down to the the website you want to manage.
  3. Click the "Manage CMS Users" link.
  4. Click the "Add User" link and enter the user information in the form.
  5. Copy the CMS Link and email it to your client.
  6. Repeat this process for additional users.

How do I add Google Analytics to my client's website?
Enso is built to accommodate any client-side analytic tracking code.
  1. Login to your Enso account at http://www.ensocms.com/login.
  2. On the "My Websites" page scroll down to the the website you want to manage.
  3. Click the "Website Settings" link.
  4. Click the "Global Code" tab.
  5. Paste your tracking code.

What can my clients control using the content management system?

Why can't my clients change fonts and colors using the CMS?
All fonts and colors should be set in the style sheet by you the designer. Giving clients the ability to change fonts and colors is like giving finger paints to a toddler ... fun to watch but ultimately they make a mess.


How do my clients upload graphics to their websites?
Uploading a graphic is quick and easy using the content management system.
  1. They login to their CMS at http://www.theirdomain.com/admin.
  2. Navigate to the page they want to manage.
  3. Highlight the text they want to link to the document.
  4. Click the Image Manager "Image Manager" button in the HTML Editor.
  5. Choose an existing image in the list or click the "Upload Image" tab to upload an image from their computer.
  6. Click the "OK" button.
  7. Click the "Save Page" button.

How do my clients link to PDF files?
Uploading and linking to a document such as a PDF or Word file is quick and easy.
  1. They login to their CMS at http://www.theirdomain.com/admin.
  2. Navigate to the page they want to manage.
  3. Highlight the text they want to link to the document.
  4. Click the Document Manager "Document Manager" button in the HTML Editor.
  5. Choose an existing document in the list or click the "Upload Document" tab to upload a file from their computer.
  6. Click the "OK" button.
  7. Click the "Save Page" button.

How do my clients create links?
Creating a link using the content management system is quick and easy.
  1. They login to their CMS at http://www.theirdomain.com/admin.
  2. Navigate to the page they want to manage.
  3. Highlight the text they want to link.
  4. Click the Hyperlink Manager "Hyperlink Manager" button in the HTML Editor.
  5. Type in the URL and click the "Ok" button.
  6. Click the "Save Page" button.

How do my clients change meta tags like page title and page description?
  1. They login to their CMS at http://www.theirdomain.com/admin.
  2. Navigate to the page they want to manage.
  3. Click the SEO Ready™ tab.
  4. Enter Page Title, Page Description and Page Keywords
  5. Click the "Save Page" Button.
